Valley Wide Yard Sale 08
The Moapa Valley Wide Yard Sale 2008 was a huge success for event for the team of Morris, Ken and Dennis. It was a sheer stroke of genius that the sale be located in Lin's parking lot, for the crowds bombarded Rotarians Friday evening as they attempted to unload and set up. By Sunday late morning, volunteers were taking a BUCK A SACK for sale items, and it resulted in not much “stuff” left to haul away. A truck load to the senior center, a couple loads to the trash, a load of books to the library for their sale and Rotarians called it a day. A great deal of thanks to Lin’s for allowing all the extra activity to take place on a weekend, and to all the volunteers who brought about one more successful fundraiser for all those who need financial assistance from our club. Total funds raised: $2,500.00?
